It's 4/20. You ain't got no job. You ain't got shit to do.

Lucky for you, Denver's got things covered in smoke.

If you have a ticket to the High Times U.S. Cannabis Cup in Denver, congratulations. If you don't, it's sold out.

Too bad, man. Snoop Lion, Slightly Stoopid and Cypress Hill will be around.

(Didn't Snoop reincarnate himself as clean? I hate his new name.)

Anyway, since you can't hang with the newfound Rasta Lion, head to Denver's Civic Center Park, at the intersection of Colfax and Broadway, where a gaggle of ganja gatherers (whoa consonance) will congregate for Denver's annual 4/20 rally.

With the passage of Amendment 64 in Colorado, legalizing recreational use of weed, officials are calling this party one of the largest pot-themed celebrations in the world. Tourists will flock to our fair state to celebrate grass. The event is taking place Saturday and Sunday.

Miguel Lopez, the organizer of Denver's annual 4/20 rally at Civic Center Park, set up some neat events running on Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Aside from live performances by Denver DJ Arjitech and P-Nuckle, there will be a hemp fashion show and fundraisers. The park fills with thousands of participants who set up tents, merchandise tables filled with glass-blown paraphernalia, hemp goods, fashion, face painting, drinks and snacks.

Get out of Boulder this weekend, but don't get arrested, don't be stupid and don't drive impaired.

Good talk.
