History
For Love of Ivy was formed in 2006 by award winning guitarist Beau Osland. Along with Jordan Bever (bass) and Nick Clark (drums), For Love of Ivy integrates a profound understanding and respect for music with an explosive sound and a youthful exuberance. Their music features striking melodies, intense instrumental build-ups, and incredible energy and emotion. While the members of For Love of Ivy consider bands such as Radiohead, Coldplay, and Nirvana among their many influences, they have always stayed true to themselves, working to create their own exciting music and identity.
For Love of Ivy has extensive performance experience and has appeared at many different venues in the greater Denver area, such as the Ogden Theatre, Bluebird Theater, Hi-Dive, the Oriental Theater, Aggie Theatre, Cervantes, and more. They have also recently begun touring regionally, opening for the national acts Amber Pacific and Monty Are I.
