The Colorado State Patrol arrested two people after a chase and crash on northbound Interstate 25 on Sunday.
At 11:38 a.m. the Patrol received a report of a speeding vehicle driving erratically on the Interstate.
A trooper spotted the tan Chevrolet Blazer at mile marker 171 and attempted to stop the sports utility vehicle, said CSP spokeswoman Cpl. Heather Cobbler. "The vehicle attempted to flee," Cobbler said.
Three minutes later the trooper terminated the chase and the vehicle subsequently crashed at mile marker 175. "We took the passenger into custody and the driver fled across some rail road tracks," Cobbler said.
Troopers took him into custody about 13 minutes later, Cobbler said.
