A "tongue-in-cheek" sign in the window of the Lazy Dog Sports Bar and Grill is advertising that the Pearl Street Mall restaurant is for sale.

Owner Steve Ross said he's ready for a break and is willing to sell the restaurant at 1346 Pearl St., Boulder, but hasn't done more than post a sign.

"If I was going to truly make a serious effort, I'd do it with a broker and some serious print or online classified," he said. "But it's such a good business and the town knows it, so why not?"

The Lazy Dog moved to its current Pearl Street Mall location in 2004.
