Denver-based Snarf's Sandwich Shop, a 15-restaurant chain that opened its first sub shop in Boulder in 1996, is planning a “significant local and national expansion” that includes operating 50 locations nationwide by 2018, officials announced Wednesday.
Snarf's intends to expand in its current markets of Colorado, St. Louis and Chicago, and enter Texas, officials said in a statement.
The privately held Snarf's received financing for the expansion from Guaranty Bank, officials said.
Snarf's operates four shops in Boulder County.
A Snarf's Burgers restaurant — housed in the 2000 Arapahoe Ave. shack long home to Daddy Bruce's Bar-B-Que — is slated to open as early as next month.
