Nicholas Warren McChesney of Longmont, Colorado died on June 29, 2008 in Aspen, Colorado from a drowning accident at the "Punchbowl" in the Roaring Fork River.

Nick was 22 years old at the time of his death. He was born in Redwood, California, and moved to Colorado with his family when he was 2 years of age. He grew up on his parents' ranch, Triple Creek Ranch, and graduated from Silver Creek High School in Longmont, Co. He attended 2 years at Mesa State College before moving to Aspen and working at the T-Lazy 7 Ranch for the past 3 years.

Nick lived a wonderful fun filled life and loved motor cross riding and had passion for snowboarding and horses. Nick was a quite, loving, caring man who dedicated himself to his love of family and friends.

He was survived by his parents David and Lynn McChesney and brothers Matt McChesney and Zack McChesney as well as an extensive loving family from all over the country.

Visitation will be 8-11 AM Saturday, July 5 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1PM Saturday, July 5 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1000 W. 15th Ave, Longmont. Cremation to follow services at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Donations can be made to Mountain Rescue Aspen www.mountainrescueaspen.org or to Snowboard Outreach Society www.sosoutreach.org.
