The University of Colorado at Boulder dropped from the top 10 of Princeton Review's list of public colleges offering the best value this year.
CU was ranked no. 5 in last year's list and has fallen into the top 50 schools on this year's list, released Tuesday.
The top 10 schools are ranked numerically but CU is among the following 40 schools listed alphabetically, without specific rankings.
The University of Virginia was ranked no. 1 among public colleges followed by the New College of Florida and the University of Florida.
The list uses academics, cost of attendance, and financial aid to rank the country's top 50 public and top 50 private schools.
