Bipartisan federal budget expert Alice Rivlin will deliver the keynote address at this year's Conference on World Affaris at the University of Colorado.
The 64th annual CWA will be held April 9-13 on the Boulder campus. Rivlin is a senior fellow of economic studies at The Brookings Institution and co-chair of the Debt Reduction Task for at the Bipartisan Policy Center.
She was appointed to the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform by President Barack Obama in 2010. She's also held leadership positions with the Federal Reserve and was director of the White House Office of Management and Budget.
Rivlin's keynote address is at 11:30 a.m. April 9 in Macky Auditorium. The keynote procession and address is a tradition in Boulder.
Past keynote speakers have included Eleanor Roosevelt and Henry Kissinger.
Last year's CWA attendance numbered 90,200 at 200 sessions spread out over five days.
All CWA sessions are free and open to the public.
