C all me corny, but I'm a total sucker for theme parties, complete with costumes and special drinks.

Amurrica party? You bet your bonnet there'll be Bud Light, Franzia and overalls. A Moulin Rouge party isn't complete without lingerie and absinthe. And a nerdy party isn't a nerdy party without geek-themed drinks.

Here are a few theme recipes to wet your whistle... now get working on your costume (although chances are you already have one tucked away from the last time you went to Comic Con).

The Sonic Screwdriver

Allons-y! A drink to make "Doctor Who" proud, this twist on the classic Screwdriver is deliciously refreshing. Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice and strain into a tall glass. If you're feeling super fun, make little bow ties to put around the glass, or decorate it like the TARDIS.

2 oz vodka

1 oz Blue Curaao

8 oz orange juice

The Zombie shot

Fill half a shot glass with Bailey's or another type of Irish crème. Carefully pour cinnamon schnapps to fill the rest of the glass. The reaction between the two liquors makes a bloody brain-looking combination, and the shot tastes like a cinnamon roll.

Adult Butterbeer

While Harry and the gang enjoyed Butterbeer as wee little tykes at Hogwarts, this adult version of the popular drink of the wizarding world packs a sneaky punch. To make the drink frothy like the official Butterbeer you'd find at the Wizarding World of "Harry Potter," add half a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

2 oz butterscotch schnapps

1 oz vanilla vodka

6 oz cream soda

The Katniss Everdeen shot

As the "girl who was on fire," the Katniss shot calls for something fiery. Fill a shot glass almost to the top with Fireball whiskey. Add a dash of amaretto to the top of the drink to add a bit of sweetness. If her sponsors had given her some of this, Katniss would've won "The Hunger Games" in an hour flat.

Portal cocktails

Based off the popular video game, these cocktails are perfect for a hot summer day... or for when you wake up in an Aperture Laboratories test chamber. To make them extra fancy, dip the rim of the glass in sprinkles of the opposite color.

Orange portal

1 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur

1 oz rum

5 oz Orangina

Blue portal

2 oz blue curacao

1 oz vodka

5 oz lemonade

These five themed drinks are easy to make, inexpensive, and wonderfully nerdy. We all know geeks know how to get down -- with any of these recipes, you'll be sure to get down in style. Just don't forget your costume, from the Doctor's bowtie to your Weighted Companion Cube.
