The Superior Board of Trustees approved an agreement Tuesday night with Boulder Racing that will once again give the event company the job of running the Superior Morgul Cycling Race.
Next year's race is scheduled for May 17-19.
The partnership, which will cost Superior $30,000, gives Boulder Racing the duties of hosting and organizing the three-day event. The Boulder firm ran the Morgul for the first time this year.
Changes planned for 2013 include expanding Saturday's Rocky Mountain Bike Festival to incorporate more youth and community activities during the Summit Criterium; adding a potential running race on Sunday; and using a professional firm to coordinate parking in and around Community Park.
