Peyton Williams, a 2012 three-star receiver recruit from Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, has decided to play closer to home, reported Tuesday. Williams grayshirted while recovering from a torn ACL at the start of fall camp. He paid his own living expenses in Boulder and went to school part time. "I grew up a lot, but the experience helped me realize that I want to be in Texas," he told the website. "The coaches were great and all that. I just want to be closer to home. It is an awesome environment, but I didn't feel like I fit in as well as maybe I could somewhere else ... I am a Texas kid, and I want to stay close to my family." John Henderson, The Denver Post
