The Colorado women's basketball team will have to hit the road for its next game in the WNIT.

UTEP beat Saint Mary's (Calif.) 76-64 on Monday night in the second round and will host Linda Lappe's Buffs on Friday at 7 p.m.

Colorado reached the third round with a 79-68 home victory over Southern Utah on Saturday.

The Miners have not had to leave the friendly confines of the Don Haskins Center during the WNIT, earning a first-round win at home against Arkansas State.

This will be the sixth meeting between Colorado and UTEP, but the first since November of 1982. The Buffs won all five previous meetings, four of which came when the two programs were members of the AIAW Intermountain Conference from 1976-79.

The game will not be televised, but will be broadcast on KKZN (760 AM).
