Boulder could see more rain and even some early-morning snow today as a storm system lingers in the Front Range area, according to the National Weather Service.

Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 52 and a 40 percent chance of rain and snow before 8 a.m. followed by rain and thunderstorms. The overnight low is expected to be near 40.

Friday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of 66 and winds 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 18 mph. There is a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. The overnight low is expected to be near 45 with winds 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of 69 and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. The overnight low is expected to be near 43 with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
