BOULDER, Colo. -
The University of Colorado men's and women's lacrosse clubs had very different luck in their games over the weekend.
While the men's team faired well, winning each of its games Friday and Sunday, the women's team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday afternoon.
The previously undefeated Buffs succumbed to arch-nemesis Colorado State, losing 8-5 in a game of missed chances and a late rally that fell short.
On the other side of the coin, the CU men rolled - first turning over Montana 13-6 on Friday night, then beating Texas A&M 17-4 on Sunday.
The men's club moved to 3-0; the women dropped to 11-1. The men host Florida Tuesday night at Kittredge field at 6 p.m., and the women travel to Northern Colorado on Thursday night.
