The University of Colorado-Boulder cycling team won the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference championships over the weekend at Mesa State University in Grand Juction.

More than 30 CU cyclists competed.


CU's Abby Mickey won the women's individual omnium, and her teammate Bill Golembieski won the men's individual omnium. Mickey also won the women's road race, and CU junior Camilo Zambrano won the men's road race. CU senior Christa Ghent won the women's criterium.

The team will compete in Ogden, Utah, at the National Collegiate Cycling Championships starting May 3. The team placed second at nationals last year.
