BOULDER — Colorado is currently in the process of adding another year and raises to the contracts of basketball coaches Tad Boyle and Linda Lappe, athletic director Mike Bohn said Friday.
The extensions would commit the pair, who both finished their third seasons, through 2017-18.
In their last contract extensions a year ago, annual reviews were included.
"It's in the window where we're doing that," Bohn said.
Boyle is the first coach in school history to win at least 20 games three consecutive seasons. He led the Buffaloes to a second NCAA Tournament in a row for only the third time in school history. If junior Andre Roberson does not leave early for the NBA, Bohn will return five starters from this season's 21-12 team.
Lappe led the women's team to three consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 2002-04 and its first NCAA Tournament since 2004. This season's 25-7 record marked its most wins since it went 26-9 in 1995-96.
