A 26-year-old woman who's being held at the Boulder County Jail is now suspected of additional drug crimes, including distribution and possession of a controlled substance, after deputies reported finding meth under her cell mattress earlier this month.
Deputies became suspicious of Brianna Wiesman and three other inmates — Vanessa Hunnel, Rhonda Johnson and Tara Blackfeather — on Oct. 8 when they learned drugs were being passed around the jail module, according to a Sheriff's Office report.
“I found out that Brianna Wiesman possibly has a pill bottle in a plastic bag hidden in her vagina and the bottle contains at least a half an ounce to an ounce of meth,” a deputy wrote in the report.
Deputies noticed some of the women had bloodshot and dilated eyes, and they were placed on “locked down” pending a hearing, according to the sheriff's office. A few days later, during a search of Wiesman's cell, officers found three to four bundles of methamphetamine, according to the report.
She is suspected of distribution and possesion of a controlled substance and first-degree introduction of contraband.
