The University of Colorado's Boulder campus will award 2,074 degrees during winter commencement on Dec. 21 at the Coors Events Center, the university announced Thursday.

The university will award 1,560 bachelor's degrees, 384 master's degrees, six law degrees and 124 doctoral degrees.

The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Due to heavy traffic and construction, the university is urging early arrival. Free parking is available in lots and gray meters near the events center.

Professor Patrick Mason, of the College of Music, will give the address.
