Monday saw spring-like warmth in Boulder, but high wind speeds accompanied temperatures in the mid-60s, and the gusts should continue through the week.

On Monday, Boulder saw winds in the 20 mph to 30 mph range, with the National Center for Atmospheric Research's Mesa lab recording a gust of 71.8 mph at 9:40 a.m.

A high wind warning was issued by the National Weather Service for the Front Range mountains and foothills until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 57 and winds 33 mph to 43 mph with gusts as high as 65 mph.

The overnight low is expected to be near 33, with winds slowing to 7 mph to 14 mph with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Wednesday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 52 and winds 10 mph to 18 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 29.

There is also a slight chance of rain and snow beginning Wednesday.
