Those looking for a break from the normal morning commute can take the wet way to work Tuesday for the seventh installment of Boulder's Tube to Work Day.

Starting at 8 a.m. at Eben G. Fine Park, at Third Street and Canyon Boulevard, participants will hop into their tubes and make their way down Boulder Creek in their wetsuits and business suits.

What began as two men tubing to work in 2008 last year saw almost 30 participants, according to founder Jeff Kagan.

The event typically takes place in June to line up with Boulder's Bike to Work Day, but safety concerns on the creek forced it to be pushed back into July this year.

The city of Boulder will sponsor a breakfast station off the creek near Broadway.

The public is invited to participate, but commuters must bring their own tubes.

More information can be found at the event's Facebook page.
