The University of Colorado is bringing back its Food For Fines program for the holidays, which allows people to pay off their parking tickets by donating food items.
The promotion will run Monday through Friday next week, and all donations wil go to Harvest of Hope Pantry.
Those with a ticket can bring in a minimum of five non-perishable food items to have a current outstanding citation waived. People can get multiple citations waived during this period.
The citations must have been issued before Dec. 1.
Donations can be made at the parking services building at 1050 Regent Drive. Parking is available for free in 15-minute increments in lot 440 south of parking services from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on donation dates.
