Capitol Hill's annual People's Fair is, as advertised, all about people — and that means tons of family-friendly activities next to the hundreds of food and drink vendors, arts & crafts and live entertainment. Civic Center will welcome 200,000 festivalgoers from the Hill and beyond this weekend as the Fair returns for its 43rd annual installment. Kids' highlights include the carnival rides and free crafts, sports activities (including a climbing wall) and more. New this year: a Fine Arts Avenue on 14th Avenue between Bannock Street and Broadway, an "InstaPassport" scavenger hunt using Instagram, a Healthy Village sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and a jazz stage that celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Studio 1430 AM KEZW. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. June 8.
