Tell the nagging luddite inside your eardrum stop looping vintage grunge and take a break for some future funk.

Judgement (grungement?) aside, GRiZ, of Boulder, is a solid reason to expand the musical radius. The electro-soul, saxophone master released another groovy tune, "As We Proceed" — a collaboration with Brooklyn hip-hop and electronic producer Gramatik.

The duo, known as GRiZMatik, collaborated on a couple of tracks years ago ("Digital Liberation Is Mad Freedom" in 2013 and "My People" in 2014) — and will likely bring us some more, as a release stated that fans should keep an ear to the ground for more announcements this year.

GRiZ (Grant Kwiecinski) and Gramatik (Denis Jasarevi) released the new track on Friday, Inauguration Day.

"'As We Proceed' is about continuing to hold on to the feelings of love and positivity even in the face of such negativity," Kwiecinski said in a release. "It's a piece of encouragement for those feeling the weight of our current cultural climate."

Please proceed with "As We Proceed," which is free on most digital streaming platforms.
