</title><link>http://coloradodaily.com/news/2008/oct/09/dining-neighborhood-joint-sit-back-and-relax-at/?partner=RSS</link><description>Many people think Murphy's Grill is an Irish pub. It isn't, although co-owner Chris Dodge says the restaurant is happy to take advantage of that assumption on St. Patrick's Day. But Murphy's Grill is really named after Murphy's Law, the edict that says that anything that can go wrong will. So there's a black humor in many of the signs hanging around the restaurant. One warns that unattended children will be towed at the owner's expense. Another reads, "When the going gets tough, everyone leaves."

</title><link>http://coloradodaily.com/news/2008/sep/18/caution-use-both-hands/?partner=RSS</link><description>It's not hard to find a good sandwich in this town. Actually, it's pretty easy to live off of sandwiches in Boulder. They're cheap, they're tasty and the selection is colossal. Any combination of pretty much anything (that's edible, people) can be put between bread.

Here in Boulder, we now have a restaurant exclusively devoted to fries -- Spud Bros., which opened in May. The restaurant sits on 10th Street, next to Sushi Tora. It's a small space, but the interior is bright and cheerful. The outdoor patio has a view of Pearl Street.

In fact, the menu's scope is even broader than the name implies. In addition to Indonesian and Indian fare, visitors can dine on Persian lamb and many Thai dishes. The restaurant could have been called Bali to Bombay to Bangkok, if that weren't such a mouthful.
