It's looking a little less like Christmas on the University of Colorado campus after police said a Grinch made off with 92 feet of holiday lights over the weekend that had been adorning the Koenig Alumni Center.

CU police spokesman Ryan Huff said officers were called to the alumni center after white LED Christmas lights that had been strung around the four columns of the front porch and the railings were missing Monday.

Huff said the lights were taken sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Monday. The university said there was no reason for any staff or faculty members to have taken down the lights, which were valued at $40.

Police do not have any suspects at this time.
