The Boulder Police Department is looking for community members interested in serving on the department's Professional Standards Review Panel, which reviews serious internal investigations into officers accused of misconduct.

The panel consists of six community members and six members of the police department. The panel is tasked with reviewing internal investigations into officers to ensure they were conducted fairly.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens over the age of 21 who have lived in the city of Boulder for at least three years. Applicants cannot have any felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions in the past five years.

Finalists for the positions will be interviewed by a selection committee, and a list of final candidates will then be sent to Boulder City Manager Jane Brautigam for the final selection.
