A suspect in the armed robbery of a Broomfield nail salon in November was arrested this weekend in Gilpin County.
Vorasane Kingsakorn, 25, was arrested in Central City on a warrant out of Broomfield for robbery, menacing, theft and possession of a weapon.
Kingsakorn is being held at the Gilpin County Jail on $100,000 bond.
According to officials, Kingsakorn was wanted in connection with the armed robbery of AAA Nail Supply, 6570 West 120th Ave., on Nov. 19.
Investigators say two men entered the store and acted as though they were shopping. A third man then entered, and, after a few minutes, one of the suspects pointed a gun at the employee and demanded his wallet while the other two men stole cash from the registers and cash, checks and credit card receipts from a safe box.
The suspect who pointed the gun was described as an adult Asian or Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, and was wearing black pants and a black shirt with a dark green vest. He also had a black baseball cap with a green dragon across the front and a metallic sticker on the brim, and had long dark hair pulled back into a ponytail.
The other two men were described as adult Asian or Hispanic men with dark pants and dark hoodies.
Officials did not specify what specific role Kingsakorn played in the incident.
