The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified a man whose body was found on the University of Colorado campus Saturday night as Ralph Devore, 51.

Devore was found unresponsive just east of the intersection of College Avenue and Broadway on the CU campus at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday, according to CU police Cmdr. Robert Axmacher.

CU police said Sunday that Devore was a transient, and while the Coroner's Office has not released the cause and manner of his death, CU officials indicated there were no signs of foul play or any ongoing threat.

Also, on Friday night, Boulder police responded to calls about an unresponsive person lying in a Boulder Creek Path underpass near Arapahoe Avenue and Broadway and found the body of an unidentified woman.

The woman's name has not been released, and the cause and manner of her death remain under investigation, according to the Coroner's Office, but Boulder police indicated there were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Isabel McDevitt, director of the homeless services center the Bridge House, on Monday said the woman was a long-term member of the local homeless community.

CU police said Devore's death "appears to have no connection" to the woman whose body was found Friday.
