The Boulder Police Department has confirmed the arrest of two more suspects in connection with a downtown Boulder drug ring, bringing the total number of arrests in the case up to nine.

After seven suspects were taken into custody Friday, police also arrested a 17-year-old, unidentified female and Michael James Morton, 57.

Both Morton and the 17-year-old face one charge of distributing less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

Only one suspect now remains at large: Bryan Antonie Townsend, facing six charges, has an outstanding warrant in connection with the case.

On Friday, 30 uniformed and plainclothes Boulder police officers executed a sting operation at Central Park, arresting seven suspects and breaking up what they said was a network of dealers selling marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms to juveniles and adults.

Those arrested were Jannene Parrish Barrett, 57; Derrick Jordan Marshall Parish, 21; David John Sanderson, 20; Jayson Anthony Seuferer, 32; Jeffrey Daniel Ferriss Sr., 35; Gerald Emery Newman, 29; and a 16-year-old female.

Anyone with information about Townsend's whereabouts, or the case in general, is asked to contact the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-3333. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS or crimeshurt.com.
