Boulder, the city that's home to one of the oldest craft breweries in the nation, soon will have a craft beer festival of its own.
The first-ever Boulder Craft Beer Festival is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 in West Central Park in downtown Boulder, officials for event producer Downtown Boulder Inc. announced Thursday.
Boulder's Liquor Mart is presenting the festival.
The event will feature 20 of the more than 30 craft breweries that operate in Boulder County. There will be 40 beers on tap, food for purchase and live music, event organizers said.
