All you can say is that the pay must be pretty good at the Independence Institute (Independent Ideas, "TABOR saved Colorado," Oct. 12).

That could be the only reason that its frontmen can continue to carry water for all its outworn, disproven and rejected causes. Either that or they are so delusional about the "political correctness" of their ideas that reality can make no dent in their thick skulls.

I can appreciate the gadfly element of truly "independent" insight, but this "institute" is primarily an ideologically driven propaganda arm of the Neocon agenda posing itself as a political "think tank."
