Youth Mentors Needed: Help change the life of a teen in Boulder County. One year commitment when matched. Spend a couple of hours a week with a youth 11-16, share activities or a meal, listen and laugh together. Must be 21. Background check required. February 26 mandatory training 8:30am-12pm. Boulder County Area Agency on Aging: is looking for new long term care ombudsman volunteers to visit a nursing home or assisted living in their area and advocate for the residents. Long term care ombudsmen work with residents and staff of long-term care facilities, assist with receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints in these facilities, as well as advocating for the rights of the residents. Volunteers also provide information about the ombudsman program to residents, staff, family members and the community-at-large. Please visit for more information and to apply.
