Craigslist is flooded with ads from people trying to get rid of unwanted stuff as they move, the back-to-school commercials have started and Target is primed and ready to become a complete madhouse as freshmen begin arriving on campus.

You have to go back to class soon, and the reminders just won't quit. It's OK, nerdy friend. You still have a couple of weeks left to chill before syllabus week rears its ugly, policy-infested head.

The best way to chill? Grab a cold one and some friends and kick back for a handful of lighthearted, somewhat mindless movies you've already seen a hundred times. Netflix has your back, serving up tons of old-school flicks for you to choose from. Here are some of my favorites.

Break out your best "Blue Steel" and pick up some orange mocha Frappuccinos - "Zoolander" is streaming on Netflix and will definitely help you feel a lot better about your intellectual aptitude... even after a summer sans classes. You don't have to be really, really ridiculously good looking to enjoy this lesson that even male models can be heroes.

Remember when you read "Holes" in third grade and thought going to youth prison in the Texas desert would've been super awesome? Oh, that's just me? Well... the movie's on Netflix, and it features pre-breakdown(s) Shia LaBeouf. I can't even think the words "I can fix that" without bursting into tears, and saying "If only..." without singing the rest of the tune just feels so... wrong.

If you've ever wanted to jump a pool on your sick dirt bike or been thrown off by the h in "whiskey," "Hot Rod" is a great flick to zone out to. It's not that old, but the 2007 beaut from comedy crew, The Lonely Island, is wonderfully dumb enough for a great summer afternoon and will bring fond memories of your high school days.

Full of one-liners that are pretty much only hilarious if you say them in the characters' voices ("I hate all the orphans in the whole world!") "Nacho Libre" will have you longing for chips and toast — and giggling over stretchy pants for the rest of the summer.

I am so, so into reinterpretations of classic tales — especially when they're '90s-tastic and full of nostalgia. "Ever After" is a great play on Cinderella. Drew Barrymore crushes it (like she does everything) and oh man... dat da Vinci plot twist.

Speaking of chock-full-of-90s classic reinterpretations, "Hook" is also up on Netflix for your streaming pleasure. The Peter Pan remake will help keep you young as you get ready to start another year on the path to full-blown adulthood. Plus, who doesn't want an excuse to shout "RU-FI-OOOO!!" at the top of their lungs?
