The popular jam band called it quits in August 2007 following a final run of dates at Red Rocks. At the time, the band announced guitarist Billy Nershi was leaving the group to pursue other musical projects, and, "There are no plans for the String Cheese Incident beyond summer of 2007."
The group reunited with Nershi last summer to play the Rothbury festival in Michigan.
In addition to this summer's Red Rocks concerts, String Cheeese will play its traditional Horning's Hideout camping festival July 29-Aug. 1 near Portland, Ore.
