Time for your weekend concert round-up.

Boulder and Denver have a lot to choose from this weekend. Well, it's mostly Friday. Friday is stacked. Hopefully we can help you make some choices.

We already gave you the heads up on the guaranteed good time with I Sank Molly Brown this Saturday at the Larimer Lounge. For those of you who don't want to leave Boulder, we've got something for you, too.

Here's are all the other good sounds you'll want to hear in the next few days.

El Ten Eleven

9 p.m. Friday

Fox Theatre

$15-$17

Guitarist and bassist Kristian Dunn and drummer Tim Fogarty aren't fond of labels, but you have to call them something. Math rock, post-rock, whatever. Just know that Dunn plays doublenecked instruments and the shredding gets gnarly. So if powerful instrumental rock is your thing, El Ten Eleven is for you.

They'll be trying to blow the Fox Theatre (1135 13th St.) down tonight, along with Bronze Whale.

Rossonian

9 p.m. Friday

Lost Lake Lounge

$8

Rossonian, named for the famous Five Points hotel, should be on your radar if the band isn't already. The Denver indie rockers make music that'll worm its way into your ear and wiggle around in there for a while.

Also on that night: DIRT, Young Freaks and The Rose Petition. Plus, Lord Huron has a DJ set scheduled as an afterparty for his sold out Ogden Theatre show.

Never been to Lost Lake (3602 E. Colfax Ave.)? Trust us, you're missing out. It's one of Denver best, kinda-forgotten dive-y rock bars.

The Yawpers

9:30 p.m. Friday

hi-dive

$8

The Yawpers are getting into the studio to record their next LP, which it seems like we've been waiting for endlessly. It's not that they're slow. We're just impatient. You're sure to catch some of the new stuff live at the hi-dive (7 S. Broadway, Denver) tonight.

Kicking off the night are the Kinky Fingers and self-described "rock 'n' roll faith-healers" The Blind Pets.

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe

9 p.m. Saturday

Boulder Theater

$22.50-$25

Saxophonist Karl Denson could probably get you to dance all by his damn self, but that's probably no fun for him. He's bringing his whole band to the Boulder Theater (2032 14th St.) as part of his Soul Spectacular Tour. Saturday night, they proudly present the Ray Charles Boogaloo Dance Party. It's going to be exactly what it sounds like.
