Denver's own DeVotchKa will return to the Boulder Theater for yet another year of the band's Day of the Dead Ball.

The rock group known for its Eastern European sounds first got noticed with the soundtrack for "Little Miss Sunshine," but before that, DeVotchKa was playing for burlesque shows. Those roots left the band with a soft spot for theatrics that comes out in full-force for Halloween shows.

This year DeVotchKa will celebrate with two nights at the Boulder Theater -- Oct. 26 with the March Fourth Marching Band, and Oct. 27 with Land Lines.

Tickets go on sale at 10:30 a.m. Friday for $29.50.
