Charges of obstruction and resisting police against a University of Colorado student were dismissed after she pleaded guilty to underage consumption of alcohol, the Boulder District Attorney’s Office said.
Lauren Wayne, 20, made the deal with prosecutors Wednesday, said Carolyn French, a spokeswoman for the DA's Office.
Wayne was arrested Tuesday night after a Boulder police officer said he found her intoxicated and wandering the street. Officers said Wayne ran away, resisted officers and was verbally abusive.
Alissa Chisholm, 20, who was with Wayne at the time, was also arrested on suspicion of underage consumption of alcohol and criminal impersonation — for reportedly lying about her age. Her case has not yet been resolved, according to the DA’s office.
