The storm system moving through the south of the state that was supposed to bring snow yesterday to the metro area, ended up dropping plenty of the white stuff on eastern Colorado in towns like Akron, but steered clear of Boulder and Denver. Now that same front is making the urban corridor a chilly place to wake up to.

Today, the forecast high temperature is a mild 52 degrees, but it should feel slightly colder, according to Weather Underground.

The forecast overnight low tonight should drop to 31 degrees.

Wednesday should warm slightly to just shy of 60 degrees. The forecast high is 56. Overnight and into early Thursday morning, the forecast low should settle to 34 degrees.

Thursday's high is forecast at 49 degrees, and with that lower forecast high may come a chance for rain: 20 percent, to be exact. That rain, coupled with a 27 degree overnight temperature, may mean a bit of early morning snow on Friday.
