The Boulder Interfraternity Council has added to a reward for information about a firebombing earlier this fall at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house.
The reward is $6,500, the result of a recent $2,500 contribution from the council, which has put up $4,500 total. The rest has come from the University of Colorado and Northern Colorado Crimestoppers.
The incident occurred early Oct. 3 in the 1100 block of 12th Street.
According to Boulder police, an incendiary device was thrown into the fraternity house. Occupants were able to extinguish the fire, but several members were involved in fights with unknown individuals once they got out of the house. One fraternity member was injured, but no one has been arrested.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Kipp Euler at 303-441-3330 or call 800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted via www.nococrimestoppers.com.
