The University of Colorado plans to host an “un-debate” Tuesday at the Boulder campus between 2nd Congressional District candidates Jared Polis, Scott Starin and Bill Hammons.
The event will focus on “nuanced discussion of issues,” including the economy and education.
“The goal is to identify shared interests and mutual outcomes rather than to express pre-existing positions,” according to a CU news release.
Others participating in the debate will include former CU President Hank Brown, Colorado Senate candidate Rollie Heath and CU professors Stan Deetz and Susan Clark.
The debate is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Wittemyer courtroom of the Wolf Law Building on the CU campus.
The university also will host several public events on Thursday to celebrate International Conflict Resolution Day. Details are available online at http://peacestudies.conflictresearch.org.
