Community Cycles, a nonprofit organization that educates and advocates for the safe use of bicycles, will host a winter cycling workshop intended to equip attendees with the skills and knowledge to ride through the cold months.

The workshop will be held at Community Cycles, 2805 Wilderness Place, Suite 1000, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jan. 12.

Topics that will be covered include proper equipment, clothing and riding techniques for cycling in winter.

The workshop will cost $5 for Community Cycles members and $10 for nonmembers.
