CORRECTION: Due to incorrect information provided by the Boulder County District Attorney's Office, this story originally misreported the sentence given to Davin Burke-Reinhart.

Davin Burke-Reinhart, who was convicted on two counts of sexual assault for sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep on a friend's couch in 2011, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, one year of work release and 20 years probation Friday.

Burke-Reinhart, 27, was found guilty on one count of sexual assault on a helpless victim -- a Class 3 felony -- and sexual assault on a victim incapable of appraising the nature of their conduct -- a Class 4 felony -- by a Boulder County jury in November 2011.

According to prosecutors, a 20-year-old female said she was sleeping on the couch at a residence in the 1100 block of Grandview Avenue when she awoke to Burke-Reinhart trying to remove her clothing and sexually assaulting her. The woman was able to get away from him before other people in the house called for help.

Burke-Reinhart turned himself in to police shortly after the incident. Investigators said he knew several people in the house and entered through an unlocked door.
