On Friday, 82 couples at Loveland Ski Area celebrated Valentine's Day with a mass wedding.
The 23rd annual Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony was held at noon outside Ptarmigin Roost Cabin at the top of Chair No. 2, the resort said on its website.
After the 30-minute ceremony — held at 12,050 feet — participants and their guests rode down the mountain for a party with cake, music and prizes, including one for best-dressed couple.
Loveland reminded participants: "The wedding will not be rescheduled because of snow or cold."
Hopefully couples heeded that warning, as white-out conditions prevailed Friday while minister Harry Heilman led the ceremony.
