The Northern Colorado Drug Task Force has arrested the owner, a manager and an employee of The Down Low smoke shop in Loveland for selling synthetic cannabinoids known as "spice."
The task force made the arrests after serving a search warrant at the shop at 109 E. 37th St. on Thursday, according to a news release.
Detectives seized nearly 707 grams of spice packaged as Scooby Snax, Mr. Nice Guy, OMG and Mr. Happy, with a street value of $5,400.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation tested the products and found the synthetic cannabinoids.
Arrested were Anthony Cortese, for unlawful possession of synthetic cannabinoids; Bruce J. Lunder, for unlawful distribution of synthetic cannabinoids; and Deven Pratt, for unlawful distribution of synthetic cannabinoids. They face other charges as well.
