A man was found dead by climbers near the First Flatiron early this morning, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Climbers found the body of the 32-year-old man northwest of the First Flatiron on a ridge near Chautauqua Park at 7 a.m. today, according to a news release.
Sheriff's officials said foul play is not suspected, and said the man did not appear to be a fallen climber.
Climbing access to the First Flatiron will be closed while the sheriff's office investigates and prepares to recover the body.
The Boulder County Coroner's Office will release the man's name following notification of next-of-kin, and will conduct an autopsy and investigation to determine the cause and manner of his death.
