The snowstorm that's supposed to hit Colorado this weekend is a perfect excuse to shred some gnar.

If you head to Vail to ski or ride, you can also kick cancer in the buns. On Saturday, Vail is hosting Pink Vail, an event to raise awareness and funds for Shaw Regional Cancer Center's new program for survivors. Shaw is located in Edwards, Colo., and treats approximately 200 patients each year.

Skiers and riders can participate as individuals or as teams, and you can register online at Ski all day, then head to Arrabelle Square for a Pink Aprés Party and Charlie Mars concert.

Let's face it -- you were going to ski or ride anyway, might as well shred for a good cause while you're at it.

Stazio Crit postponed

If you were hoping to ride in Sunday's CU Stazio Criterium, you're out of luck. The Buffs cycling team has postponed the event until March 30th because of the impending snowstorm. The new date means a relocation -- the crit will be held on east campus at the Research Park. More details to follow, says CU Cycling.
