I t's Easter weekend, and for a lot of people that means putting Peeps in the microwave.

But you, my friend, can take your pick of outdoorsy things to do instead.

Get your ski on, and then participate in some on-mountain Easter egg hunts. Picture this: a large, human-sized bunny shredding. All that and more can be yours at these Colorado ski areas: Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Eldora, Granby Ranch, Winter Park, Wolf Creek, Durango Mountain and Steamboat.

If that's not your style, Aspen/Snowmass is hosting band Grouplove on Saturday.

Or, forget Easter entirely and break out the challah. Holla for challah! You can bring some to the United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) snowboard nationals this weekend at Copper Mountain. The championships start Saturday and run through Thursday. Watch the nation's best (of all ages) compete in GS, slalom, slopestyle, halfpipe, boarder cross and rail jam.
