Phoenix Multisport, a nonprofit sober outdoor community for recovering addicts, will host Rebuild, a fundraiser that includes bicycle art and live bike frame painting from 7 to 9 p.m. The art pieces and bikes painted by local artists will be auctioned off, and all proceeds benefit the Boulder chapter of Phoenix Multisport.

Collegiate Triathlon Nationals
The Buffs triathlon team races for its fourth consecutive national title this weekend in Tempe, Ariz. Under the direction of coach Mike Ricci, the University of Colorado is a favorite to win the title, going up against other strong contenders such as the United States Naval Academy team, the University of Arizona, the University of California and Stanford.

The sixth annual race will be held on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus, starting from Folsom Stadium gate five. Race starts at 9 a.m., and organizers expect more than 300 runners and walkers. A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization that serves injured service members.
The race is organized by Air Force ROTC Detachment 105, a group that trains college students to become officers in the U.S. Air Force.

Haystack Mountain Time Trials
The GS Boulder cycling team's annual race is a 12.14-mile rolling loop north of Boulder.
The team was founded in the 1990s, and has more than 80 members across various cycling disciplines. The individual and team time trails begin at 9:45 a.m., and start at U.S. 36 and Neva Road.
More than 800 cyclists will compete at the race, which started in 2006.

The 13th annual Canine Classic 5K begins at 9 a.m. at the Boulder Reservoir. Though bringing a dog is optional, it's encouraged. The race can be used as a Bolder Boulder qualifying time. A Canine Carnival follows the race.
The race benefits Boulder nonprofit Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA), which supports survivors of sexual assault.

Frank Shorter Race4Kids' Health 5K
The fourth annual Frank Shorter Race4Kids' health 5K begins at 9 a.m. at Broomfield's 1stBank Event Center. The race benefits Healthy Learning Paths, a nonprofit that aims to teach children wellness strategies for success in health, learning and life.
