Reality TV's always making news, so here's the scoops for this week:
Aerosmith + 'AI'
Is rocker Steven Tyler the next "American Idol" judge?
The producers of "American Idol" are keeping mum, but Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton says bandleader Tyler is the new "AI" judge.
Hamilton told the press last week, "Steven is doing 'American Idol.' So, we'll have to work around his schedule for a new record.
"I don't know if 'American Idol' will be rock 'n' roll enough for him," Hamilton added, "but it is an opportunity for millions of people to see another side of Steven Tyler."
That's if Tyler can stay up on stage without falling over. The rocker had another incident last week where he fell off the stage -- in the middle of a concert.
Here's the other thing -- "American Idol" just lowered its contestant age to 15 to draw in a younger audience. Are these kids going to even know who Tyler is?
"AI" needs to bring in a younger, more contemporary judge to keep the show going.
Snooki: Wanted for annoying behavior
It wasn't enough for "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi to be busted for disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance.
Last week, the prosecutors said they would also charge the MTV star with annoying people on the beach.
OK, Polizzi can be annoying on TV and in the press, but isn't this pushing things a bit far?
Stay tuned, as the trial date is Sept. 8.
Bail on your job, get a TV show
Last week, flight attendant Steven Slater made news for literally bailing out of his job.
Slater got on the intercom of his JetBlue flight and allegedly cursed out a problem passenger. He was so mad that he ditched out of the flight by deploying the emergency slide and exiting the plane.
Now Slater's getting offers do to his own reality show.
The story went into viral overload on the Internet, proving you can get rewarded for bad behavior.
'Millionaire Matchmaker' calls off engagement
"Millionaire Matchmaker" is one of Bravo's top reality shows, as the program specializes in finding dates for quirky singles.
The show's star, Patti Stanger, has done a amazing job at finding mates for some of L.A.'s more relationship-challenged characters. That translates to people who didn't stand a chance in hell of scoring a date.
Unfortunately, Stanger couldn't do the same for herself.
"The Millionaire Matchmaker" just called off her own engagement to fiancé Andy Friedman. Stanger twittered last week, "It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables."
It looks like Stanger will be looking for her own dates on next season's "Millionaire Matchmaker."
