Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino reportedly will be on "Dancing with the Stars" this season.

Get ready, because here's the top reality news of the week:

'Dancing with the Stars'

The rumors are flying, but Monday night, reality fans will find out who's on board for this season's "Dancing with the Stars." This has become one of the biggest entertainment stories of the week.

Normally this news would make TV fans run for the door. However, this batch of celebs is intriguing and quirky -- and they could actually convince audiences to watch this reality epic.

"Dancing with the Stars" will host a live press conference during Monday's broadcast of "The Bachelor Pad." Trust me, the ABC dating bomb could use the viewers.

Friday, E! Entertainment host Ryan Seacrest gleefully announced on-air that his network had secured the roster for this season's contestants. Other media outlets are reporting the same list.

Tonight, we'll know if their radar was pointed in the right direction.

E! says the celebs signed to "Dancing with the Stars" are "America's Got Talent" judge David Hasseloff, "Jersey Shore's" Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, "Hills'" star Audrina Patridge, former basketball pro/actor Rick Fox, singer Brandy, teen mom Bristol Palin, has-been singer Michael Bolton and "Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson.

Great, we'll see Hasseloff doing a floor dance to grab a burger and The Situation using every opportunity to show off his six-pack -- or the hangover he got from drinking one.

Adding to the circus, E! says that "Dirty Dancing's" Jennifer Gray and comedienne Margaret Cho just signed on to dance their way to fame or shame, too.

This could be the most bizarre season of "Dancing with the Stars" on record -- and that makes for great reality TV.

"Dancing with the Stars" returns Sept. 20 to ABC.

'The Apprentice'

Donald Trump's taking a break from celebrity divas, so he's heading back to the civilian version of "The Apprentice."

There may be a few characters in this crop of job seekers, too.

The new contestants appearing this fall include "Miss Cougar California," a synchronized swimmer, a tow-truck driver/rocker, a big game hunter, a stand-up comedian and a Web-show host.

These players have been hit by the recession and they're hungry to become the next "Apprentice." This could get interesting.

"The Apprentice" returns Sept. 16 to NBC.
